“For a late in life and very amateur artist - it was a huge leap for me this week to share my paintings at the 20th Annual Raymond James Art Show. What a great event for the RJ associates and I, we were amazed by how much artistic talent our associates have. A very cool and unique experience for me - and I feel fortunate to have been a part of it. And as always - thankful to Amy Vetter for her inspirational words two years ago at a Southeastern Women in Financial Services Lunch and Learn which encouraged me to explore my creative side to find a better balance for bliss."

Erin Linehan, Experienced Compliance Attorney, Raymond James Financial Inc.

Amy has walked in your audience’s shoes. She knows all too well the pressure and level of excellence required when working for a high-performing organization. Creating Worklife Harmony® Personally and in the Workplace

Create the energy you want for yourself and those around you by Disconnecting to Connect using the B³ Method® (Business, Balance & Bliss)

Disconnect to Connect: Tap Into The Power Within You To Create the Life You Desire

(Work-Life Balance, Human Connection, and Authentic Leadership topic)

We all grow up with certain beliefs—assumptions and convictions that we hold to be true—regarding concepts, events, people, and things. Sometimes these beliefs are so deeply ingrained in who we are that we never even consider questioning them. But what if these beliefs don’t actually align with who we are? Once we break free of the messages in our heads we can then start the journey to Business, Balance & Bliss and to becoming a Connected Leader. Amy Vetter, from The B³ Method Institute, will share insights to help you to uncover messages ingrained from someone else versus what you truly believe or how you want to show up in the world. Get ready to be courageous, aware, and inquisitive to get to your inner truth.

Disconnect to Connect: Practicing Mindfulness in the Workplace

(Leadership, Personal Development, Employee Engagement topic)

Do you find yourself distracted at work and at home? Do you fear that you are not working to your full potential with your team or as a leader because of workplace misunderstandings? Are you empathetic as a leader and seek to understand others’ perspectives? In this session, we will take a deep dive into understanding where we are off balance in our lives -- both at work and home -- and how this affects the experience we create with others.

Many of us can feel that we are technically up to speed in what we do; however, we are not living up to our full potential as a leader or co-worker because we lack the skills to mindfully connect with one another. Mindfulness is the practice of being fully present in the current moment and learning how to calmly observe our thoughts and feelings without judgment or action. By learning to disconnect, we can connect in a more intentional, positive way and find common ground with those we work with and care about. Through the daily practice of mindfulness, we can gain a better understanding of where we are off-balance internally so that we can show up better for those around us, be a more successful leader and feel more engaged as an employee.

Disconnect to Connect: The Connected Leader

(Leadership, Employee Engagement and Change Management topic)

In this age of technology disruption, everything is changing around us. We sometimes can feel like we don’t know where our anchor is - what will stay the same, what will change, and what we can depend on.

We can find that when implementing change in our organization, individual patterns of behavior can show up in ways that prevent the business from making progress and embracing the opportunities ahead. While we are focusing on change management in our organizations and what the future of our work will look like, we should also be spending an equal amount of time creating stronger human connections.

With time and dedication, you can learn to become a connected leader who contributes to cultivating an engaging and fulfilling work-life culture for yourself, your team and colleagues.

During this talk, Amy will take you on an emotional journey of self-reflection. You will discover more compassion for yourself and others, be more mindful as a leader, and improve how you communicate to achieve the desired outcomes together as a team.

Disconnect to Connect: Being Authentically You in the Workplace

(Work-Life Balance, Human Connection, Authentic Leadership topic)

We all grow up with certain beliefs - assumptions and convictions that we hold to be true, regarding concepts, events, people, and things. Sometimes these beliefs are so deeply ingrained in who we are that we never even consider questioning them. But what if these beliefs don’t actually align with who we are? Once we break free of the messages in our heads we can then start the journey to Business, Balance & Bliss and to becoming a Connected Leader. Amy Vetter, from The B³ Method Institute, will share insights to help you to uncover what message is ingrained from someone else versus what you truly believe or how you want to show up in the world. Work-life Harmony and Transformation is Possible in Your Organization

(Work-Life Balance, Human Connection, Authentic Leadership topic)

With work compression and staffing capacity issues creating stress in your firms, culture and individuals that work there, the risk of not having bench strength is at all time high. Often the answer given to employees that are burned out is… “this is just the way it is”. However; there is a way to overcome this and change the future of our work to create a workplace that people can create a destination career that not only benefits the firm, but allows them to balance their work and life, and creates a culture where everyone feels they matter and can achieve their dreams. In this session we will discuss the commitment, change process, and investment of time that it takes to transform your workplace so that you can remain a strong and thriving firm into the future.

The Leadership and Communication Skills to Help You Thrive

(Technology, Corporate Culture and Change Management topic)

Course Description:

As Connected Leaders we strive to improve our company or clients’ businesses with the information we provide them. Yet many of us still spend the majority of our time keeping up with regulation and compliance requirements. This doesn’t leave the necessary amount of time in our day to advise our teams and inform the organization on how to improve their business results at a holistic level. With technology’s gift of more time, we can learn to create the value that our stakeholders request and by clearly communicating to our team so they can succeed and thrive. As a result, we can become a Leader that is considered a strategic, highly valued partner whom our clients and organizations can’t imagine living without. During this session you will learn active listening techniques, the six areas of communication and learning executive presence so you have the presentation skills to be an effective Connected Leader.

Mindful Technology: Embracing Technology, Innovation and Mindfulness to Create Lasting Human Connections

(Technology, Corporate Culture, Employee Engagement topic)

Technology, such as cloud software, artificial intelligence and machine learning, is not the end of real human connection -- it is just the beginning. When technology is set up in the right ways, we have more time to spend together collaborating and growing our businesses. The key is to implement and use technology in a thoughtful, ethical way so that we, along with our colleagues and employees, don’t become consumed and stressed by it. When implementing technology, we often spend the majority of our time on the technical skills around operating it. However, it’s just as important to spend an equal amount of time designing the guidelines around how we use it to communicate so that we’re not inadvertently creating additional work and stress, rather than less. The “Ultimate Gift of Technology” is to allow it to do the heavy lifting so you can dedicate more time developing collaborative and lasting relationships with your employees and customers. By doing so, you can become a more empathetic leader, incorporating technology practices in a mindful way and cultivate an engaged company culture that improves each person’s ability to communicate, innovate, and create.

The Power of Supportive Women’s Networks

(Leadership, Employee Engagement and Career Growth Topic)

Having a supportive network of women in your career can be one of the most important ingredients to your success. Like many young women, Amy believed that she would have the same opportunities as men in the workplace, but as she moved up the corporate ladder, she noticed more and more women were not alongside her. During this session, Amy will share research and lessons learned from her own experience, and that from women she admires, on how to grow and learn at any stage of your career to achieve your goals. No matter if you’re advanced in your career or just starting out, you will learn why it’s important for women to bring each other along on their professional journeys, and how to be more mindful in supporting and aligning with women who inspire you. To further support you in your career journey, you will learn powerful tools on how to discover and align your authentic self and inner talents with the work you do to create a greater sense of work-life harmony.

Becoming a Cherished Advisor®: How to Grow & Scale a CAS Practice

(Technology, Corporate Culture and Change Management topic)

Course Description

You’re passionate about what you do, and that’s why you started or lead a client advisory practice. Combining your passion and business can be both exhilarating and a struggle.

Many professionals stumble into starting an advisory practice because of what they love to do. But without the experience or a roadmap of how to build a new service line or practice that your clients can’t imagine living without for efficiency and scalability, it’s easy to hit pitfalls along the way. To become a “Cherished Advisor®”—a highly valued strategic partner whom your business clients rely on to grow and thrive—you need to have a solid business foundation yourself. It’s therefore essential to put into practice the same kind of advice you give your clients.

As a CPA, consultant, and entrepreneur, Amy will share insights and best practices from her own experience of starting and growing an advisory services practice independently and as a partner in accounting. She will also pull from her more than 10 years of advising thousands of firm leaders on growing and scaling their businesses. You will walk away with actionable tools, tips, and resources for creating and maintaining a solid, scalable foundation for your business for years to come.

Becoming a Cherished Advisor®: The Technology, the Process, and Practice Management

(Technology, Corporate Culture and Change Management topic)

New technology is changing the way your clients expect to work and manage their financials. To stay relevant, accounting professionals are retooling to launch into new services and will need to acquire new skill sets, one being that of a technologist. This session will discuss why it’s important to not just implement technology to do things the same way you have always done them, but instead, rethink the business processes in your practice and the type of staffing that is needed to be successful. By doing this, you can become more efficient, productive, collaborative and create an environment of purpose that your team and clients can rally around. You will come away with an understanding of how technology’s gift of more time gives you the opportunity to become “Cherished Advisors” -- highly valued, strategic partners who are an integral part of their client's businesses and whom their clients can’t imagine living without.

Becoming a Cherished Advisor®: Designing a Successful CAS Client Experience

(Technology, Corporate Culture and Change Management topic)

Course Description:

As advisors, we strive to improve our clients’ businesses with the information we provide them. Yet many of us still spend the majority of our time keeping up with regulation and compliance as well as meeting tax deadlines. This doesn’t leave the necessary amount of time in our day to advise each client on how to improve their business results at a holistic level. During this session, we will learn how to create an end-to-end engagement, from client prospects to onboarding new clients to creating lasting relationships through regular client meetings and understanding how to interpret and communicate financial results on an ongoing basis.

Gaining Firm Buy In to Create CAS Practice Success

Have you struggled with the leadership dedicating the right investment and resources to your CAS Practice? During this session we will discuss the roadblocks you may be encountering and how to overcome them, in addition to focusing on the right structure and metrics when developing your CAS strategy to create value overall and for the entire firm. With the right initiatives in place and agreed up, you can gain the results you desire to win over the leaders in your firm to support the initiatives that will help your CAS practice grow and scale.

Selecting and Creating a Tech Stack for your CAS Practice

Do you hear talk about having a “Tech Stack” and wonder if you have one at your firm? Or maybe you don’t even know where to begin? During this session, we will discuss best practices in creating a tech stack so you can have the opportunity to visualize what that could look like for your own CAS practice. Whether you deliver bookkeeping, controllership or outsourced CFO services, these solution providers will provide live demos so you can identify the technology solutions that can help you automate your practice, free up more time to spend with your clients, and to solve many of the pain points you encounter daily delivering these services.

Becoming A Cherished Advisor®: The Simple Sales Process

(Technology, Corporate Culture and Change Management topic)

Course Description

Are you unable to keep up with your client advisory leads, or where you are in the sales process with potential or current clients? Many of us begin selling to prospective clients organically without a foundation to create a long-term advisory relationship and ensure we bring the right clients to our practice. The success of a new advisory client relationship starts from the discovery phase through onboarding.

In reality, the sales process never ends -- it is an ongoing relationship that you grow over time to create a long-lasting, prosperous client relationship. Breaking down your sales process and setting up the proper foundation can not only help you work with the clients you want, but it can also help you avoid taking on clients that are not a good fit. In addition, by setting up the right level of automation and back-end processes, you can generate more revenue with the clients you already know and love before bringing on new clients.

MINDFULNESS AT WORK SERIES

In addition to a presentation on Mindfulness in the Workplace above, consider offering your attendees a Mindfulness series. This starts with a one-hour kick-off, followed by a series of bi-monthly, 30-minute to 1-hour breakfast or lunch-and-learn sessions on the below topics.

30-Minute to 1-Hour Deep-Dive Mindfulness Sessions

Being Present to Be Productive - Incorporating Mindfulness Into Our Day

Do you find yourself distracted at work and at home?

Do you fear that you are not working to your full potential with your team or as a leader because of workplace misunderstandings?

Are you empathetic as a leader where you seek to understand other perspectives?

Many of us can feel that we are technically up to speed in what we do, however; we are not living our full potential as a leader or a co-worker because of lacking skills in how to interact with one another. Mindfulness is the practice of being aware of what is happening around us and finding common ground with those we work with and care about so we can create better results in business and at home. Gaining a better understanding of identifying where we are off-balance internally can help us show up better for those around us, create more success as a leader and more engaged as an employee.

Getting Back to Who You Are: Authenticity

We all grow up with certain beliefs—assumptions and convictions that we hold to be true regarding concepts, events, people, and things.

Sometimes these beliefs are so deeply ingrained in who we are that we never even consider questioning them. But what if these beliefs don't actually align with who we are?

Sometimes we have to break free of the messages in our heads so we can then start the journey to Business, Balance & Bliss.

Join Amy Vetter, from The B³ Method Institute, as she shares insights to help you uncover ingrained messages from others versus what you truly believe or how you want to show up in the world. Get ready to be courageous, aware, and inquisitive to get to your inner truth.

Your Personal Brand: Staying True to Yourself

Your personal brand is how you represent yourself to the outside world -- friends, family, and colleagues. It can be tempting to put on a mask -- especially with social media, but it’s not authentic and people see through it and may not relate to you at work or personally.

Rather than worrying about your real personality coming through in how you portray yourself to the world, instead, embrace it, and intentionally review what you put out into the world and the experience you create. You may find that people start responding to you differently because they are attracted to people that are authentic.

Once you begin to connect on a more human level, you can create a meaningful relationship, whether in business or at home.

Be More Present to be Productive: Intentional Time Management

Many of us lack focus on taking care of our well-being and overwork ourselves each day which often causes us to feel depleted. When all of our energy is directed outward to work and family, we can create a drastic imbalance in our lives.

Over time, Amy came to her own realization that without balance in her life and finding time for herself to re-energize and focus, she couldn’t reach her potential in her career or what she desired in her personal life. That meant taking an honest look at all aspects of her life, the good and the bad, and intentionally making time to do the self-exploration she needed so she could be better for those around her.

Use Your Natural Abilities to Alleviate Stress

Too much to do at work and at home? Learn how to take a quick break and refuel yourself throughout the day to be better for yourself and the people around you.

Have you ever wanted to learn more about meditation or just want to set time aside to do it during your workday? Join us for a Meditation, led by Amy Vetter, from The B³ Method Institute to help you get started.

In this session, Amy will dispel the myths around meditation, teach you how to begin and how to incorporate meditation into your day, as well as, lead a brief virtual meditation. You will find that once you make this small change in your life, it will help you reset and be more present for the people you work with and those you care about.

Pivoting on Your Path

Maybe you've discovered that you haven't been your most authentic self lately. Perhaps things feel a bit misaligned, and you feel there is a need to make a change. Or maybe you’re just ready for something new or want a new challenge. So, what now?

When we go through these times when we are uncomfortable, we may be tempted to quit everything. It can be overwhelming to start on the journey of self-discovery -- it can be a lot of hard work. Sometimes it’s tempting to blame the outside world for the way we feel, rather than do the work personally and look internally for what we need to do to change. But it’s important to do the hard work to align our authentic selves with our purpose and careers. It’s the true path to finding Bliss.

Amy Vetter, from The B³ Method Institute, will share insights to help with Pivoting on Your Path. In this session, you will learn to: recognize that rather than quitting, you can discover ways to pause to think things over; learn that dramatic changes may not be necessary, instead unlock small ways to pivot, and; tap into your own self-awareness to keep you on the path to Bliss, choosing not to focus on outside circumstances you can’t control.

Develop Your 30-Day Personal Purpose Plan

In this session, we will take a deep dive to understand where we are off balance in our lives between work and home and how it affects the experience we create with others. Many of us can feel that we are technically up to speed in what we do; however, we are not living our full potential as a leader or a co-worker because we may not be aligned with our values and what we want to create in the world around us.
